Complete your remote electronic identity proofing transaction in 4 easy steps!
To begin click the green "Book Now" button to set your appointment for online remote identity proofing with an authorized Notary Public or Certified Trusted Agent. Select a time and date. Enter your contact information.
Our Notary Public or Certified Trusted Agent will send via email 15 to 30 minutes before your appointment a document link from Persona Trust containing the identity verification application. Please open the link and complete the form by providing your name, email, then electronically sign and date. Click “Submit”. The form will be returned to the Notary Public or Certified Trusted Agent.
The Notary Public or Certified Trusted Agent will send you a second email containing a video conference invitation. Click on the link input your name and email address and select "Join". Make sure your webcam and speakers are turned on. Once you join the video conference select the audio conference button in the middle of the screen and select "Call Using Computer". If audio does not connect use the toll free number option provided and call to connect audio.
You are required to display your identification documents for verification and attest to the correctness of your personal identifiable information. The Notary Public or Certified Trusted Agent will input your information from your identification documents into the identity verification application, and electronically sign and date. Notary Public or Certified Trusted Agent will send your completed identity verification application to the Registration Authority. You will receive the completed identity verification application document.pdf link for you to download and retain for your records. Please be advised the document link will expire after 48 hours.
